What do we teach?

UP | Urban Playground specializes in teaching the Art of Movement with classes combining 4 core disciplines: Parkour, Freerunning, Ninja Warrior Obstacle training, and Tricking.

⚡️ Parkour

Moving from point A to B over, under, and around obstacles as efficiently as possible.

Parkour with the addition of tricking, flipping, creativity, and personal flair.

Building balance, agility, and grip strength to climb and conquer various obstacles.

Flowing a combination of kicks, flips, and twists. As well as styles from breakdancing.

Preschool

For ages 4–6, Preschool Ninja classes are 45-minute sessions focused on balance, strength, agility, and basic body & climbing movements. This is a safe and fun way to start building a solid athletic base while adjusting to a shared social classroom environment!

Beginner

New to the world of Parkour and Ninja Warrior? Or, maybe you’re just new to sports in general. If so, then Beginner would be the perfect place to start!


Intermediate

Have you taken parkour, ninja, martial arts or gymnastics classes before? Do you have a trampoline at home where you practice landing flips and tricks? Do you know what a parkour vault is or how to forward roll? Can you do the monkey bars? It sounds like Intermediate would be a great fit!


12 & UP

Parkour, Freerunning, and Ninja Warrior class for all students ages 12–17. After warm ups, classes will be divided into groups based on skill level to ensure safety and maximize progression.


Advanced

Do you currently take, or have you recently taken, advanced ninja, or gymnastics classes? Are you already flipping on the ground, or twisting and double flipping on the trampoline? Can you do multiple pull-ups or dead hang for more than 90 seconds? Advanced classes were created with you in mind!

Ninja will be focusing on building balance, agility, and strength to climb and conquer various obstacles in Ninja Warrior fashion. Two classes a week are recommended. This year we look forward to building a team to compete in the youth UNAA (Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association.) Multiple classes will be a requirement for our future team as well as portions of the class dedicated to conditioning.

Tricking is a training discipline that combines kicks with flips and twists from gymnastics as well as many dance moves and styles from breakdancing. It aims to achieve an aesthetic display of different combinations of "tricks". Tricking practitioners are commonly referred to as trickers.


Payments are based upon (4) class per month, for 3 months (12 classes).
No holiday closures for classes this summer.
