What do we teach?
UP | Urban Playground specializes in teaching the Art of Movement with classes combining 4 core disciplines: Parkour, Freerunning, Ninja Warrior Obstacle Training, and Martial Arts.
⚡️ Parkour
Moving from point A to B over, under, and around obstacles as efficiently as possible.
👟 Freerunning
Parkour with the addition of tricking, flipping, creativity, and personal flair.
💪 Ninja Warrior
Building balance, agility, and grip strength to climb and conquer various obstacles.
🥋 Martial Arts
A discipline in "combative sports" that helps develop strength and skills in mind, body, and spirit.
Which class is for you?

Waitlists will be used to determine which classes may need to be added to our schedule. There is no charge for being on the waitlist(s).
Preschool
For ages 4–6, Preschool Ninja classes are 45-minute sessions focused on balance, strength, agility, and basic body & climbing movements. This is a safe and fun way to start building a solid athletic base while adjusting to a shared social classroom environment! “Mini & Me” class will continue through the summer with students ages 3–4 joined by a parent or guardian to help navigate through their 45-minute session!
Beginner
New to the world of Parkour and Ninja Warrior? If so, then Beginner would be the perfect place to start. We recommend all new students take beginner classes first to familiarize themselves with both foundational movements and terminology.
Intermediate
Have you taken parkour, ninja, or team gymnastics classes before? Do you have a trampoline at home where you practice landing flips and tricks? Do you know what a parkour vault is or how to forward roll? Can you do the monkey bars easily and are looking for more obstacle challenges? It sounds like Intermediate would be a great fit!
Skill level range: Intermediate.
Ninja Warrior
Looking for just Ninja Warrior obstacles training? Ninja Warrior class is a great way to get you stronger, faster, and more agile. As well as a stepping stone to our Pre-team and then followed by our Ninja Team! Expect way more climbing in the Ninja Warrior classes!
Skill levels range: Intermediate.
Parkour & Freerunning
Looking to learn advanced parkour and freerunning movements? Parkour & Freerunning class will work on higher skill level parkour movements mixed with flips. This class will be for ages 8-11 and will focus on introducing more advanced parkour skills and fundamentals of flips and aerial awareness on the trampoline and floor.
Parkour & Freerunning (Ages 12-17) requires coaches recommendation/approval. This class will focus on efficiently adding heights and distances as well as learning advanced parkour and trampoline skills. As well as moving those skills to the floor, on, off, and/or over objects & platforms. No online or portal signups for this class, please email Front Desk.
Skill levels range from Intermediate → Advanced.

12 & UP
Parkour, Freerunning, and Ninja Warrior classes for all students ages 12–17.
Skill levels range from Beginner → Intermediate.
OCR - Obstacle Course Racing | Adult Class!
Embark on an exhilarating journey of fitness and self-discovery with our OCR - Obstacle Course Racing class, designed for individuals aged 16 and UP. This dynamic workout experience is tailored to challenge and inspire participants of all fitness levels, from older teens seeking an adrenaline rush to adults looking to rejuvenate their fitness journey or prepare for a mud run event. Our skilled instructors will guide you through a diverse range of obstacles, promoting strength, endurance, agility, and mental fortitude. You'll conquer rope climbs, traverse walls, and navigate monkey bars, all while fostering camaraderie with fellow warriors. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a newcomer to the world of OCR, our class provides a supportive environment to push your boundaries, boost your confidence, and achieve your goals. Ninja Team & Pre-team
Youth Ninja Warrior competitions test an athlete's strength, agility, & balance as they use their minds and bodies to conquer obstacles, overcome challenges, and complete courses. This merging of mind and body creates unique energy as no other sport can. Competitors within the sport grow in many ways, both as athletes and as people, all while moving and having fun! Pre-Team & Ninja Team at this time is invite-only, if you are interested please reach out to our front desk through email.

Martial Arts
Taekwondo
A Martial art developed in Korea translates to "the way of the hand and foot." Although it's famous for its fast pace-kicking techniques, you will also learn skills such as; self-defense, flexibility, patience, balance, discipline, hard work, and commitment.
Skill levels range from Beginner → Advanced.
To maintain appropriate class sizes, we have established a minimum and maximum number of roster spots per class. As needed before the start of summer, classes may be modified, combined, or removed. Waitlists will be used to determine which classes may need to be added to our schedule if necessary.
